The internet, currently, is divided between speculation about the launch date of the phones. But the gist is that the Galaxy Z 7 series might hit the market either in July or in August. While there is no official information so far, the rumours and leaks give us a decent preview of how the phones will arrive. According to a tipster, @PandaFlashPro, the phones will cater to high-end standards. This means that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 are expected to sport a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The post also shared that while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will come in only two storage variants (256GB and 512GB), the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will come in three: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. That said, both the devices will feature 12GB RAM.

Additionally, he also shared a sneak peek at the display specs of the Fold 7. It stated that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is anticipated to sport a 2600nits peak brightness. Moreover, the phone will feature display software similar to the Galaxy S25 series, ProScaler.

The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are expected to be priced similarly to their predecessors, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. According to the tipster, the new foldables will launch at the same prices as last year: Galaxy Z Flip 7 to be priced at $1,099 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 at $1,899. If this holds true, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could start at Rs 1,64,999, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 may be priced at Rs 1,09,999 in India, mirroring the launch prices of their predecessors.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7: What to expect

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are set to bring significant upgrades, including Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset. Display sizes are rumoured to increase, with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 featuring an 8-inch internal screen and a 6.5-inch cover display, aligning with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 may sport a 6.85-inch main display, up from the 6.7-inch screen on the Flip 6, along with a larger 4-inch cover display, an upgrade from its predecessor’s 3.4-inch panel. Additionally, both foldables are expected to be 10 per cent thinner, resulting in a sleeker and more compact design.

Moreover, this time, the Galaxy Z series is expected to bring two new entries: Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE and a triple-fold smartphone (which is yet to be named).
