Technician dies of electrocution while repairing Geyser machine in Balasore
by Subadh Nayak · KalingaTVBalasore: In an unfortunate incident, a technician died reportedly after getting electrocuted while attending a complaint of a customer in Odisha’s Balasore district on Thursday.
A resident of Arada Bazaar Ward 31 under Sahadevkhunta Police station limits of the district had reportedly called a technician to repair the Geyser machine of his house after it became unfunctional.
Soon after reaching the house, the technician started repairing the Geyser machine, however, he accidentally came in contact with the liver wire and got electrocuted.
The intensity of electrocution was so severe that the technician sustained burn injuries throughout his body and died on the spot before anyone could intervene to help him.
Meanwhile, a pall of gloom descended on the locality following the unfortunate and untimely death of the on-duty technician, said sources adding that the police would initiate a probe into the matter and sent the body to the hospital for postmortem.
