Honor is expected to launch the Honor Pad X9a as the successor to the low-end Pad X8a tablet soon. The rumoured tablet was spotted on the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) website. The appearance of the tablet on the TDRA has suggested its imminent launch. However, it will likely initially offered in UAE as it’s just been certified for sale over there by TDRA. It might arrive in other markets including India at a later date.

The Pad X9a passed through the TDRA site with the model number ELN2-W29 and seems to be a was Wi-Fi-only variant of the tablet. Besides the name and model number, the listing doesn’t include any other details about the upcoming Honor tablet. Along with the Honor Pad X9a, TDRA also certified the upcoming Honor Pad V9 recently.

Honor is likely to bring the Pad X9a with upgrades over the Honor Pad X8a, that was launched in India in September last year with a price tag of Rs 12,999 for the sole 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option. It is offered in a Space Grey shade.

Though, there is not much information about the Pad X9a, it is expected to be a high-end device. The specifications could be better than Pad X8a.
