Crew Member Killed, Three Injured After Explosion on SJ Suryah’s Killer Set

Mumbai: A 26-year-old crew member working on SJ Suryah’s forthcoming film Killer, has died in an accident on the sets, and three others have been wounded.
As per the reports, the incident occurred when the crew was shooting for a bomb-blast scene in Chennai, and it’s believed that a gas cylinder went off on the sets of the film.
The massive blast created pandemonium on the sets, and crew members ran to the help of the wounded individuals.

One crew member died of wounds in the incident, while three others were injured and are said to be recovering.
An enquiry has been initiated by the authorities to investigate the cause of the blast and to determine if the on-site safety precautions were properly maintained during the shoot.
This incident has also triggered concerns about the safety measures being practiced on the film sets, especially while shooting risky action scenes. Details to follow.
