Box office report day 3: Cocktail 2 moves towards Rs 100 Crore mark worldwide

Mumbai: Cocktail 2 earned Rs 57 crore gross at the domestic box office and added Rs 19.25 crore from international markets, pushing its total worldwide collection to Rs 76.25 crore gross. In addition to its global earnings, the film recorded Rs 47.50 crore in net box office collections across 31,542 screenings.

Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 hit theatres on June 19 and has been registering a strong box office performance since its release. Featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, the film has collected Rs 76.25 crore gross worldwide within three days and is steadily moving towards the Rs 100 crore milestone.

Following an opening day collection of Rs 13.5 crore, the film witnessed growth on Saturday with earnings of Rs 16.25 crore, taking its two-day domestic net total to Rs 29.75 crore.

At the box office, Cocktail 2 is competing with multiple new releases, including Bobby Deol’s Bandar, the Hollywood horror title Obsession, Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga, and Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past.
