Triumph has increased the prices of the recently launched new 350cc Triumph Speed 400 bike in India. This is the second price hike the motorcycle has received since it’s launch in April 2026.
With the price increase, the motorcycle has now become Rs. 6,000 dearer, taking the price to Rs. 2.40 lakh, ex-showroom. Earlier in May, 2026, the motorcycle received it’s first price hike of Rs 2,000.
Moreover, the triumph speed 400 350cc bike has now become more expensive than the 400cc version.

The whole purpose of downsizing the engine was to put the bike, including its other entry-level Triumph siblings, in the lower 18 per cent GST bracket (below 350cc) from the previous 40 per cent bracket. However, it seems that the recent bump in raw material and manufacturing costs has impacted the benefits that the downsizing is supposed to offer.
The new 349cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine of the Speed 400 produces 36.4bhp at 8,000rpm and 32Nm at 7000rpm. This is a drop of 3bhp and 5.5Nm over the previous 400cc iteration. The hardware package features a USD fork and monoshock suspension setup. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels, with braking duties handled by a 300mm front and a 230mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS. With a 13-litre fuel tank, the Speed 400 weighs 179kg (kerb).
