Yash’s ‘Toxic’ trailer promises a dark gangster Saga

Mumbai: Here comes the much-hyped trailer of Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.

For the first time, get a complete visual and auditory glimpse into the violent and darkly atmospheric world of the film.

With Geetu Mohandas at the helm, ‘Toxic’ mixes aspects of gangster cinema, fantasy and brute action into one explosive brew.

The trailer features a fiercer-than-ever Yash in the thick of the criminal empire – of crime, violence, greed and backstabbing.

The film’s stylized cinematography along with an intriguing ensemble of mysterious characters – leaving much of the plot a well-guarded secret.

Toxic features an ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth alongside Yash.

The film is being presented as a “fairytale for grown-ups” with a distinctly darker tone.

The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas and features cinematography by Rajeev Ravi, with music and background score led by Ravi Basrur.

The movie is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026.
