The two former India teammates coming together again has created excitement among cricket fans, as the Delhi Capitals are pinning their hopes on the duo’s experience and knowledge of Indian cricket to help the franchise win its first IPL.

Over the last few years, Yuvraj has also guided the careers of a few young Indian batters – Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma and Prabhsimran Singh.

Having previously been involved in talent identification and player development, he may also bring some useful insights to Delhi Capitals in their efforts to build a squad for IPL 2027.

Only once in 2020, Delhi Capitals have been an IPL finalist so far and this is the first time they will be able to lift the trophy. With Yuvraj coming in as part of Ganguly’s coaching staff, the franchise would surely look to pick up a lot more wins.
