Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan to visit Odisha today

Bhubaneswar: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan would visit Odisha on Thursday for a day-long visit and would attend various programmes at the State capital city.

As per his schedule, he would inaugurate the national Letter of Authorisation (LoA) program for high-seas fishing operations of Indian flagged vessels and would launch Odisha Deep Sea Fishing Mission (2026-2036).

Later, he would also be the chief guest and deliver the convocation address at the 15th Convocation of National Institute of Science Education and Research.

Ahead of the visit, the state government reviewed arrangements to maintain orderly conduct of the vice president’s visit.

Arrangements have been made for security, transportation, traffic, water and electricity, sanitary and other security and protocol-related needs.
