As more details become available, authorities have remained tight-lipped about who was arrested or any possible motivations behind the mass shooting that terrorized attendees.

In the midst of ongoing efforts to investigate, authorities advised onlookers to stay clear from the location and allow officials to do their work.

“This is the kind of horrific violent crime that people have just come to expect in this city, and for the victims, and the young children who would have been at this festival,” said Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson.

The annual festival, Bite of Seattle, draw numerous crowds.
