IPhone duo pre-orders open in India today

Apple is opening pre-orders for its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, in India on Friday, October 16.

Customers can book the device through Apple’s official website and Apple Store app, with sales set to begin on October 23.

The iPhone Duo is priced at Rs 2,99,900 for the 256GB variant. The 512GB model costs Rs 3,24,900, while the 1TB and 2TB variants are priced at Rs 3,74,900 and Rs 4,49,900, respectively.

It is available in Star White and Night Sky colour options.

Buyers can receive up to Rs 81,500 in trade-in credit for eligible older iPhones.

Additional offers include no-cost EMI for up to 12 months and instant cashback of up to Rs 7,000 on eligible American Express, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank cards, subject to terms and conditions.

Purchases also include three months each of Apple Music, Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade.

The foldable smartphone features a 7.6-inch inner Super Retina XDR display and a 5.4-inch outer display, both supporting ProMotion technology.

It is powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chipset built on a 2nm process and runs iOS 27.1 with Apple Intelligence features.

For photography, the device has a dual 48-megapixel rear camera system and a 12-megapixel Center Stage front camera.

Apple claims up to 31 hours of video playback using the inner display and up to 44 hours using the outer screen.
