Spain: Death toll in deadly high-speed train crash rises to 39

Spain: The death toll in the high-speed train collision in Spains has risen to 39 rescue operations progressed further on Monday. Earlier, the death toll was at 21. The toll of injured people have also risen from 72 to 152.
The autorities have also informed that the number of ijured people are also rising as the rescue operation continue to progress at the accident site near Adamuz in the Andalusia region.
As per sources, two high-speed trains collided after one of hem derailed and crashed onto the another metal engine coming from the opposite direction. Emergency services worked through the night amid difficult conditions to search for survivors and recover bodies.

Meanwhile, the reason behind the collision is yet to to ascertned.
According to earlier details released by Spanish authorities, the tail end of a high-speed train travelling between Malaga and Madrid derailed at around 7.45 pm local time near Cordoba. The derailed carriages struck a second train travelling from Madrid to Huelva, knocking multiple wagons off the tracks and down a slope.
