10 killed after massive fire breaks out at restaurant in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar

New-Delhi: Atleast 10 people were killed after a major fire broke out in the basement of Lemon Green Restaurant in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar area on Wednesday.

As per officials, the fire started in the basement of the restaurant.

The Delhi Fire Services received a call about the incident at around 9:45 AM, following which multiple fire tenders were dispatched to the location.

Firefighters immediately launched rescue operations as several people were feared trapped inside the building.

All the rescued individuals were admitted to the Centralised Accident and Trauma Services (CATS) ambulance to the hospital. Divisional Officer (DO) Ravinder from Nehru Place (NRN) fire station is present at the incident spot.
