Yo Yo Honey Singh’s nephew dies in road accident, singer mourns loss

Mumbai: A tragic road accident in Punjab’s Jalandhar claimed the lives of two young men, including singer Yo Yo Honey Singh’s nephew Vidit Olak, in the early hours of Sunday.

As per reports, the accident occurred around 3 AM on a flyover near Police Lines when a Volkswagen car crashed into a Municipal Corporation tractor-trolley parked on the road. Vidit, son of Speed Records owner Dinesh Olak, was travelling with his friend Aarav Talwar. The two were reportedly returning from a birthday party.

Five people were said to be inside the car when the collision took place. The impact proved fatal for Vidit and Aarav, who died at the spot.

According to Baradari Police Station SHO Sahil Chaudhary, municipal sanitation workers were engaged in cleaning work on the flyover. A tractor-trolley had been stationed there to collect garbage when the car approaching from behind hit it.

Meanwhile, Honey Singh expressed his grief over the loss through a social media post. Sharing his pain, the singer referred to Vidit as his nephew and wrote, “Its dark decade for me loss of my nephew is devastating. Bhole nath mehr mehr mehr @dineshauluck.”
