Delhi: Body of 46-year-old Man found at his residence, probe underway

In a shocking incident, decomposed body of a 46-year-old man was found inside in his house in Central Delhi’s Turkman Gate area, said police officials.

According to police officials, they received information about a foul smell coming from a house in Chatta Momgram near Turkman Gate, and the person living inside was not responding to knocks or phone calls.

According to the sources, police team reached the spot and found the body. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Imran Khan. The body had started decomposing, said a police official.

In a statement given by officer, he said that the body was examined and room was completely checked. There were no signs of forced entry or injury. The family members have not raised any suspicion regarding the death too.

The body has been sent to post-mortem. The police officials also added that the deceased was residing alone and the cause of death is yet unknown.
