Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Administrative Services (OAS) Association withdrew its casework protest soon after the arrest of senior BJP Leader Jagannath Pradhan this evening.

Notably, the Commissionerate police arrested Jagannath Pradhan after he surrendered himself before the Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena’s office.

The OAS Association had launched a state-wide casework agitation demanding the arrest of Pradhan for his alleged link in the attack on Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Additional Commissioner Ratnakar Sahoo on Monday.

The Association even had submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi via Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja seeking the BJP leader’s arrest.
