‘Chand Mera Dil’ holds steady, nears ₹35 crore worldwide after 12 days

Mumbai: Lakshya and Ananya Panday’s romantic drama Chand Mera Dil is sustaining well in its second week at the box office. Adding to its sum on day 12, the film is all set to cross the mark of 35 crore globally.

Though the earnings are witnessing natural decline due to weekdays, the film has kept its pace steady at the ticket windows. The romantic entertainer seems to be supported by the young lot and couple audiences.

Opening week of the film went quite well and also received a major push from word-of-mouth, especially at the multiplexes in the metropolitan cities.

Day 12 earnings of Chand Mera Dil were not comparable to its weekend earnings but the collections of the film look quite promising for a mid-budget romantic drama.

Directed by Indian-origin film maker, the romantic drama has been seen as a decent performer with Lakshya and Ananya Panday playing lead roles. The film has also proven that romantic sagas can surely lure audience to the cinemas if delivered with lovable characters and emotional content.

With its global earnings at par with 35 crore, all eyes on the screen to see if Chand Mera Dil can continue its pace throughout the week or not.

If it maintains its tempo, then 35 crore will soon be crossed and the film would secure its position even better.
