14-year-old girl collapses while playing in Gujarat, heart attack suspected

Ahmedabad: A 14-year-old girl reportedly collapsed and fell on the ground when she was running with her fellow friends in Gujarat.

The girl is identified as Anandi Modi, a resident of Jamnagar in Gujarat. She had gone to her maternal uncle’s house for vacations when the incident took place.

Following the incident she was rushed to a hospital but she died during medical treatment. Initial reports suggests that Anandi died due to suspected heart attack.

The incident took place on Sunday after Anandi she ate her lunch at the restaurant in which they had went for lunch. She was playing after having food, reportedly running to another friend when she slowed down and fell down on the floor.

The actual reason behind the girl’s death is yet to be revealed.

Further investigation into this matter is underway.
