Meta Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses launched at Meta Connect event, Know specs and availability

Meta Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses has been launched and these smart glasses are successor to the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses. The new pair of smart glasses comes with augmented reality screen. Each pair of Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses comes with its own Meta Neural Band, an EMG wristband that translates the signals created by user’s muscles (like subtle finger movements) into commands for your glasses.

The Meta Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses offers the company’s first ever smart glass with AR display. The new display screen is offered at the bottom of the right lens. There is 600 x 600 resolution screen that covers about 20-degree field of vision. The peak brightness of the screen is 5000nits. Meta has claimed that the screen has just two percent light leakage. The screen supports 90Hz refresh rate and 30Hz refresh rate for watching content.

The smart glasses weigh 69g and can be used indoor as well as outdoor. The lenses can be used by those who use prescription lens with power between -4.00 and +4.00. When it comes to camera, the Meta Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses offer 12MP camera with 3x zoom. It can be used to capture images with 3024 x 4032p resolution and record up to 1080p resolution video. The built-in storage of the smart glasses is 32GB.

Price and Availability

The Meta Ray-Ban Display comes with Meta Neural Band and costs $799. It is offered in Black and Sand colour options. It will be sold in US from September 30. It will be available in selected countries from next year.
