Jaideep Ahlawat opens up about his viral dance moves in ‘jewel thief’ says, ‘Mein maanta hoon, ye AI hai’

Jaideep Ahlawat is busy promoting his upcoming heist thriller Jewel Thief. He has made headlines for his dance moves in the song Jaadu from the film. During the trailer launch event, the actor finally responded to the speculations of using AI and ongoing comparisons with Vicky Kaushal’s Tauba Tauba.

The actor’s dance moves in the trailer has caught viewer’s attention, sparking online speculation that they might have used AI. Jaideep reacted to the comments and clarified, “Genuinely, there was nothing much we did with it. I don’t know why people are so surprised to see me dance; I am from Haryana and have danced in lots of ghudchadis (wedding processions).” Further he added, “Dancing is okay, Shazia and Piyush just made our jobs easy.” Further sharing in a playful way, he said, “Chalo, mein maanta hoon, ye AI hai!” (Okay, I agree that this is AI).

Co-actor Nikita Dutta, also backed up for Jaideep Ahlawat saying, “Jaideep had an audience to see him dance when he went in front of the camera.”

Fans also compared the song from Jewel Thief to Vicky Kaushal’s Tauba Tauba. On social media, one fan wrote, “My man Jaideep got some moves! Give him a solo album to dance right now.”

The movie is set to premiere on OTT on April 25.
