Epstein photo dump shows Trump, Clinton, Gates in sex trafficker's orbit
by Ellsworth Toohey · Boing BoingHouse Oversight Committee Democrats released 19 photos from Jeffrey Epstein's estate on Friday, showing a parade of powerful figures, including President Trump, Steve Bannon, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, and other high-profile figures in the late sex trafficker's orbit.
According to NBC News, the images include Trump standing in a row of six women wearing Hawaiian leis (their faces redacted), Trump standing behind Epstein at a social event, Bannon and Epstein taking a mirror selfie, Clinton with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and Bill Gates photographed with former Prince Andrew. Former Harvard President Larry Summers and lawyer Alan Dershowitz also appear in the tranche.
The photos depict no sexual misconduct and are not believed to show underage girls. What they do show is a reminder of how deeply embedded Epstein was in elite circles — tech billionaires, presidents, academics, media figures — before his 2019 death in federal custody.
Democrats say these 19 images are from a collection of 95,000 photos they're still reviewing, with more releases planned "in the days and weeks ahead." A Republican committee spokesperson accused Democrats of "cherry-picking photos" to create a "false narrative about President Trump."
Congress voted last month to compel the DOJ to release all Epstein files, with a deadline of December 20. The photos also included what CNBC described as "sex paraphernalia," including a photo of Trump-branded condoms for sale.
