Xiaomi India president Muralikrishnan B has announced his departure from the company by the end of this year.

After six years of association with Xiaomi, Muralikrishnan is now set to pursue his passion for academic research, although he will continue as an independent strategic advisor, the company said in a statement.

He will focus on executive doctorate in management to refine his expertise in ‘Consumer Behaviour on Technology Platforms’, it added.
