Mauritius PM concludes State visit, calls on President Murmu

New Delhi, Sep 16: Prime Minister of Mauritius, Navinchandra Ramgoolam, met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday, marking the conclusion of his state visit to India from September 9 to 16.

During the visit, he travelled to Mumbai, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Tirupati. President Murmu highlighted the elevation of bilateral ties to an ‘Enhanced Strategic Partnership’ and reaffirmed India’s support for Mauritius’s development priorities through projects in health, infrastructure, defence, and maritime cooperation.

Both leaders agreed that the relationship, rooted in shared history and culture, continues to grow across traditional and new areas, including digital and space technologies.
