Terrorist killed in ongoing encounter in J&K’s Kishtwar: Army

Srinagar, Apr 11: A terrorist was killed in an ongoing encounter with police and security forces in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

“Based on specific intelligence, a joint search and destroy operation along with JKP was launched on 09 Apr in Chhatru forest Kishtwar,” said the army, in a statement.

“Contact was established late evening on the same day.  The terrorists were effectively engaged and firefight ensued. One terrorist has thus far been neutralised.”
