Terrorist associate arrested in Baramulla, arms recovered: Police - Greater Kashmir

Baramulla, Nov 17: Security forces on Sunday arrested a terrorist associate on Janbazpora Binner road in north Kashmir Baramulla district.

A top police officer told NVI that today, on Janbazpora Binner road in Baramulla, a terrorist associate who had been missing for a week from Naganad DH Pora, Kulgam, was arrested. From his possession, an AK-47 rifle, a magazine, and other ammunition were recovered.

He was later identified as Showkat Ahmad, from Naganad DH Pora, Kulgam, and investigations have been launched, the officer said.

Meanwhile, they added that the arrest is a significant step in curbing terror-related activities in the region.
