New Delhi, Feb 22: In his monthly radio address Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the recently held Global AI Impact Summit in New Delhi as a ìturning pointî in shaping how the world will harness Artificial Intelligence in the future.

Greeting people of the country, PM Modi said the summit at Bharat Mandapam brought together global leaders, tech CEOs, innovators and start-ups, showcasing Indiaís growing strength in AI. He said that three ëMade in Indiaí AI models were launched during the event, calling it the ìbiggest AI summit everî.

The PM congratulated the youth and innovators for the summitís success, saying the world witnessed Indiaís ìamazing capabilitiesî in artificial intelligence.

Highlighting innovations displayed at the AI Summit, he said global leaders were particularly impressed by an AI-powered solution showcased at Amulís booth.

PM Modi explained how Artificial Intelligence is helping in animal healthcare and enabling farmers to monitor dairy production through 24×7 AI assistance.

He said such technology was empowering farmers and modernising Indiaís dairy sector.

The PM said world leaders were amazed to see how India is using AI to preserve ancient manuscripts and traditional knowledge.

He cited the example of the Sushrut Samhita, which was digitally restored, converted into machine-readable text and even presented through an AI avatar.

PM Modi said technology is now helping translate ancient Indian knowledge into multiple Indian and foreign languages.

He said this fusion of culture and cutting-edge technology reflects Indiaís unique strength.

Referring to the ongoing T20 World Cup, the PM said players of Indian origin representing other countries are making India proud.

He said that the Canadian team had the highest number of Indian-origin players, including captain Dilpreet Bajwa.

PM Modi also mentioned Monank Patel, captain of the United States team, and several players with roots in Indian domestic cricket now playing for the US, Oman, New Zealand, UAE and Italy.

ìThis is the hallmark of Indianness,î he said, adding that Indians remain connected to their roots while contributing wholeheartedly to their adopted countries.

The PM also paid tribute to Aalin Sherin Abraham, a 10-month-old girl from Kerala whose parents donated her organs after her passing.

He praised her parents, Arun Abraham and Sherin, for their courage and selflessness, saying their decision filled the nation with respect.

PM Modi said awareness about organ donation is steadily rising in India and helping save lives.

He also cited inspiring examples of transplant recipients, including Lakshmi Devi from Delhi, who undertook the Kedarnath trek after a heart transplant, and Gaurang Banerjee from West Bengal, who visited Nathu La after a lung transplant.

Raising concerns about digital fraud, the PM cautioned citizens against ìDigital Arrestî scams and financial fraud.

He urged people not to share OTPs, Aadhaar numbers or banking details with unknown callers. Stressing the importance of KYC and re-KYC procedures, PM Modi said these are meant to secure bank accounts.

He also referred to the Reserve Bank of Indiaís Financial Literacy Week and encouraged citizens to remain vigilant, saying, ìCorrect KYC, timely re-KYC keeps your account safe.î

The PM praised farmers for combining traditional practices with modern technology.

He highlighted the example of a young farmer from Odisha who integrated fish farming, fruit cultivation and vegetable farming around a pond structure to maximise income and water use. PM Modi also mentioned a village in Keralaís Thrissur district where 570 varieties of rice are being cultivated to preserve seed heritage.

He said India has become the worldís largest rice producer, crossing 150 million tonnes, and noted growing exports of GI-tagged products such as Nanjangud bananas and Mysuru betel leaves.

Addressing students appearing for exams, the PM urged them not to stress excessively. Referring to ìPariksha Pe Charchaî, he told students that their worth is not determined by marks and encouraged them to trust themselves, manage time wisely and stay connected with parents and teachers.

ìYou are exam warriors,î PM Modi said, expressing confidence in their success.
