Death toll rises to 28 after crane hits moving train in Thailand

The incident occurred when a construction crane collapsed onto a moving train carriage in Nakhon Ratchasima province, north of Bangkok, BBC reported.
The train had 195 passengers and staff on board, though officials said the actual number may vary. Rescue and medical operations continued at the site. Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Phipat Ratchakitprakarn, has ordered an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
