Thunderful Games has revealed that the upcoming Xbox Game Pass platforming game Replaced has been delayed again and will now launch in 2026.

Platforming fans will need to wait a little longer for Sad Cat Studios' 2.5D action-platformer, as Replaced's Xbox Game Pass launch has been delayed again. You'll now need to wait another year to collect the Replaced achievements when it leaves our list of upcoming Game Pass games in 2026.
Replaced gets fourth Xbox Game Pass delay

It's a sad day for players looking forward to Replaced, as it appears to have been delayed again. According to publisher Thunderful Games' latest financial report, Sad Cat Studios' upcoming platformer now won't arrive until 2026.
Originally announced in 2021 with a 2022 release window, Replaced has had a bumpy ride through development. It was first delayed in 2022 due to the war in Ukraine, and then delayed again last year with a 2025 release window for additional polishing. Unfortunately, we haven't seen a statement from Sad Cat about this delay yet, so it's unclear why it has been delayed a fourth time.
It's a busy month for Xbox Game Pass delays, which was kicked off with Kalypso Media announcing that Commandos: Origins has been delayed a second time. Then yesterday, 11 Bit Studios revealed that its upcoming sci-fi survival game The Alters has also been delayed a second time.
In better Game Pass news, however, Avowed is soaking up the praise ahead of its launch on February 18. In our Avowed review, Heidi said, "Avowed feels like a dream to play. It fully embraces the fantasy elements for a wonderfully old-school RPG, and I can’t wait to keep playing."
