Players blasting through the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 achievements will soon have new multiplayer locations to master, as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season One adds at least three new maps. Season One kicks off in the Xbox first-person shooter on November 14.

Black Ops 6 is getting three new maps with Season One

As announced by the Call of Duty X account, Season One will see the new Extraction, Heirloom, and Hideout maps added to Black Ops 6's multiplayer map rotation via a free update. Interestingly, the announcement says these are "a few of the new maps coming to Black Ops 6 Multiplayer this season," so there could be others on the docket too.

As for the maps Treyarch has teased so far, Extraction is a 6v6 map set on a coastal search and rescue base, while Heirloom hosts 6v6 and 2v2 modes and sees players battling through a museum. As for Hideout, the makeshift base will allow for 6v6 game modes in its ramshackle environment.

In other Call of Duty news, Microsoft boss Satya Nadella recently said Black Ops 6 is the "biggest Call of Duty release" in franchise history, which is unsurprising, really, as we saw a 159% spike in Call of Duty Xbox players following the game's release.
