New Hero Glamour X 125 ABS

Launched back in August 2025, Glamour X 125 became the first 125cc bike to come with cruise control in India. Now, Hero MotoCorp has launched a new Glamour X 125 variant equipped with Integrated ABS, priced at Rs 1.01 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. According to Hero, this makes Glamour X the first motorcycle in the 125cc segment to combine single-channel ABS with an Integrated Braking System (IBS).

The safety upgrade adds to an already feature-heavy package that includes cruise control, multiple riding modes, Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. Glamour X 125 base Drum Brake variant is priced Rs 88,517 while Disc Brake variant is priced at Rs 96,836 while the ABS variant is Rs 1.01 lakh, all prices ex-sh.

Single-Channel ABS With IBS

The biggest update is the new braking setup. Glamour X 125 now gets single-channel ABS paired with Hero’s Integrated Braking System. The combination is intended to improve braking stability while reducing the chances of front-wheel lock-up during hard braking.

Glamour X also gets Panic Brake Alert, which rapidly flashes the LED indicators during emergency braking to alert vehicles behind. Hazard lamps are offered as well. With the latest update, Hero is bringing ABS to a segment where combined braking systems have traditionally been more common.

Cruise Control, Ride Modes And Connected Console

Glamour X continues with some of the more unusual features for a 125cc commuter motorcycle. It gets three riding modes – Eco, Road and Power – along with cruise control. There’s a 10.7 cm adaptive multi-colour instrument console with more than 60 functions. Information displayed includes real-time mileage, distance-to-empty and gear-shift advisory.

Bluetooth connectivity enables turn-by-turn navigation with estimated arrival time along with incoming call and SMS alerts. Other equipment includes a full LED lighting package with Hero’s H-shaped signature, Type-C USB charging and dual under-seat mobile storage.

125cc Engine Produces 11.4 BHP

Powering Glamour X is Hero’s Sprint-EBT engine producing 11.4 BHP (8.5 kW) at 8,250 rpm. Hero has not announced any mechanical changes to the engine as part of the Integrated ABS update. The motorcycle gets a wide handlebar, relatively low seat height and a long, flat seat aimed at everyday commuting.

Styling remains largely familiar, although Hero has expanded the colour palette with two new options – Gun Metal Grey and Matt Axis Grey. These join the existing Black Pearl Red and Black Teal Blue shades.

The introduction of ABS is particularly significant in the competitive 125cc commuter segment. Glamour X rivals models such as TVS Raider 125, Honda SP 125 and the recently updated Bajaj Pulsar 125. Among these key rivals, TVS Raider was the only model available with ABS until now. With Glamour X joining the list, buyers now have another ABS-equipped option in the 125cc segment.
