MG Hector Tomahawk Hybrid PHEV Launch Price Rs 25.70 Lakh – 1,100 Km Range

The plug-in hybrid is offered exclusively as a seven-seater, with introductory prices starting at Rs 25.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings are open. Test drives and deliveries will commence in November 2026.
MG Hector Tomahawk Hybrid PHEV – Prices And BaaS Option
Hector Tomahawk PHEV Exclusive 7S is priced at Rs 25.70 lakh, while the Essence 7S costs Rs 27.80 lakh. MG is also offering BaaS pricing for a limited number of bookings. Under this arrangement, prices start at Rs 21.79 lakh, accompanied by a battery rental charge of Rs 3.20 per kilometre.
PHEV Delivers 115 Km Electric Range
The powertrain combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine, Dedicated Hybrid Transmission and 20.5 kWh battery. Its electric motor develops 148 kW, enabling a claimed 0–100 km/h time of approximately nine seconds. Hector Tomahawk PHEV can travel more than 115 km using electric power alone. With its battery fully charged and fuel tank filled, the combined driving range exceeds 1,100 km.
Four operating strategies are offered. Pure Electric Drive uses only the motor, while Series Hybrid uses the engine to generate electricity. Parallel Hybrid combines the engine and motor for stronger performance, whereas Engine Direct Drive is intended for efficient highway cruising.
The electromagnetic clutch can switch between operating modes in 0.1 seconds. Vehicle-to-Home functionality also allows the battery to power compatible appliances or a house.
Premium Cabin And Connected Technology
Hector Tomahawk measures 4,745 mm in length and has a 2,810 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance at the battery is rated at 230 mm. Exterior features include Beacon lighting, an illuminated MG logo, Rotor alloy wheels and a powered tailgate.
Its Desert Squadron interior combines Almond Brown and Carbon Black shades with leatherette upholstery. Equipment includes a 15.6-inch infotainment display, 8.8-inch driver screen, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, ventilated powered front seats, driver-seat memory and a 10-speaker Infinity audio system.
The seven-seat layout provides a sliding and reclining second row with 60:40 split folding and tip-and-tumble access to the third row. Rear sunshades, PM2.5 filtration and 256-colour ambient lighting are also available. Connected features include i-SMART 3.0, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital-key sharing, OTA updates, gesture controls and a GenAI-powered assistant supporting more than 30 Hinglish commands.
Six airbags are standard, accompanied by a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, ESP, traction control, TPMS and Level 2 ADAS. A lifetime battery warranty is available to the first owner. MG Shield includes a three-year unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty, three years of roadside assistance and three labour-free services. Customers can also choose an assured buyback programme.
