Mahindra Sales June 2026 – SUVs Cross 60k Mark, Overall Sales Up 37% YoY

Mahindra records its highest-ever June SUV sales, while tractor business also posts double-digit growth despite concerns around emerging El Nino conditions

Mahindra has reported strong sales performance across both its automotive and farm equipment businesses for June 2026. The company registered robust double-digit growth in domestic SUV sales, commercial vehicles and tractor sales, reflecting healthy demand across multiple segments.

Mahindra SUV Sales June 2026

In the automotive business, Mahindra sold 60,393 utility vehicles (SUVs) in the domestic market during June 2026, registering a 28% year-on-year growth over 47,306 units sold in June last year. Total vehicle sales, including exports, stood at 1,06,207 units, up 37% compared to the same period last year.

Mahindra’s domestic passenger vehicle sales have now crossed the 60,000-unit mark for the first time in June, compared to 58,021 units sold in May 2026. This translates to a 4.1% month-on-month growth. Mahindra range of ICE The company’s exports also witnessed significant growth. Total vehicle exports increased to 5,918 units, more than doubling from 2,634 units sold in June 2025, representing 125% year-on-year growth.

Commercial Vehicles Also See Strong Growth

Mahindra’s commercial vehicle business continued its positive momentum during June. Domestic sales of LCVs below 2 tonnes increased by 36% to 3,508 units, while the 2T–3.5T LCV segment registered 35% growth, reaching 22,568 units. Three-wheeler sales also witnessed exceptional growth of 63%, with 13,820 units sold during the month.

Commenting on the performance, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “In June we achieved SUV sales of 60,393 units and LCV under 3.5T segment sales of 26,076 units delivering robust growth of 28% and 35%, respectively. The total vehicle sales stood at 1,06,207, a 37% YoY growth reflecting all-round demand traction across the portfolio.”

Mahindra Tractor Sales Grow 12%

Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business also maintained its growth momentum during June 2026. Domestic tractor sales stood at 58,177 units, registering 12% growth over 51,769 units sold in June 2025. Including exports, total tractor sales reached 59,935 units, compared to 53,392 units in the corresponding month last year. Tractor exports increased 8% to 1,758 units.

Commenting on the tractor business, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “We have sold 58,177 tractors in the domestic market during June 2026 registering a growth of 12% over last year. While it is early to assess the full impact of emerging El Nino conditions, strong government interventions like sustained fertilizer subsidies and targeted support measures at the local level are expected to mitigate some of the risk to farmers and cushion its impact to the Kharif season. In the export markets, we have sold 1,758 tractors, a growth of 8% over last year.”

With passenger vehicle sales crossing the 60,000-unit mark, commercial vehicles maintaining strong momentum and the farm equipment business continuing to deliver double-digit growth, Mahindra has started FY27 on a positive note across its core businesses.
