MG Hector Tomahawk EV Launch Price Rs 19.50 Lakh – 517 Km Range

MG Motor India has launched Hector Tomahawk EV at an introductory starting price of Rs 19.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It is the first production SUV based on the company’s ADAPT multi-new-energy platform and is available in five- and seven-seat configurations. Bookings are open, with deliveries scheduled to begin in September 2026.

Prices And BaaS Option

Hector Tomahawk EV Excite 7S costs Rs 19.50 lakh, while Exclusive 7S is priced at Rs 22 lakh. Essence trim costs Rs 23 lakh with five seats and Rs 23.50 lakh with seven seats. For a limited number of bookings, BaaS pricing starts at Rs 13.99 lakh with a battery rental charge of Rs 4.90 per kilometre. All prices are introductory.

Battery, Range And Charging

Powering Hector Tomahawk EV is a 69.2 kWh MAGIC battery paired with a permanent-magnet synchronous motor. It generates 150 kW (204 PS) and 310 Nm and offers a certified range of 517 km. The electric SUV supports DC fast charging at up to 90 kW. Vehicle-to-Home capability allows its battery to supply electricity to compatible appliances and homes.

MG says the battery has undergone more than 2,000 bench tests and over 490 full-vehicle validation tests. A lifetime high-voltage battery warranty is being offered to the first owner.

Dimensions And Features

Hector Tomahawk measures 4,745 mm long and 1,770 mm tall, with a 2,810 mm wheelbase. Width including mirrors is 2,130 mm, while ground clearance measured at the battery is 230 mm. Design highlights include Beacon lighting, an illuminated MG badge, Rotor alloy wheels, sculpted bumpers and a powered tailgate.

The cabin receives a 15.6-inch HD infotainment display, an 8.8-inch driver screen, a panoramic sunroof and a 10-speaker Infinity audio system. Other highlights include ventilated front seats, powered front-seat adjustment, driver-seat memory, 256-colour ambient lighting and PM2.5 filtration.

The five-seat version offers up to 610 litres of luggage capacity. Seven-seat versions get sliding, reclining and 60:40 split-folding second-row seats with a tip-and-tumble function. i-SMART 3.0 provides more than 80 connected features. Equipment includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, OTA updates, a digital key, GenAI-powered voice assistance with over 30 Hinglish commands and multiple experience modes.

Six airbags are standard. Safety equipment includes Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera with wheel view, ESP, traction control, hill-hold assistance, TPMS, all-wheel disc brakes and an electronic parking brake. MG Shield provides a three-year unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty, three years of roadside assistance and two labour-free services. An assured buyback programme is also available.
