2026 Toyota Innova Crysta Launch Price Rs 19.72 L – Updated Design, Interiors

Toyota Innova Crysta is one of those vehicles that has stood strong in the Indian market, despite the challenges like BS6, BS6 P2, CAFE ratings and ageing underpinnings. However, Innova Crysta is a sought-after vehicle with a cult-following among fleet operators, taxi drivers and private buyers alike.

Despite the launch of more modern Innova Hycross with monocoque chassis and Hybrid powertrain, Crysta has retained its popularity and demand. Toyota has periodically updated the Innova Crysta and has given it yet another update in 2026 with revised aesthetics and cabin to keep the cash registers running.

Across its lifecycle, Toyota Innova Crysta has received multiple updates and this 2026 update / facelift might be the last one. There are speculations that Toyota will pull the plug on Innova Crysta in 2027, but could be extended to reap the harvest of this 2026 update.

Speaking of, the 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta brings a new fascia to this ageing ladder-frame MPV. We can now see an all new grille to improve the aesthetics of its fascia. There is a thick chrome surround for the massive grille, which is split in the middle by a Black applique where number plate will go.

The front bumper has been redesigned with more chrome inserts and similar changes can be seen with rear bumper as well. Overall, 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta looks more muscular and rugged than it did before, which is likely to click with target demographic that is already head over heels for this ladder-frame Diesel MPV.

Interior Updates

On the inside, Toyota has tried to spruce up the overall ambience to make it slightly more elegant and sophisticated than it already is. For starters, we can see Grace Copper inserts on steering wheel, dashboard, centre console and door trims for a richer look. There has been updated detailing around AC controls and we can see new dual-tone seat upholstery.

In terms of features, Toyota has added a wireless charging pad with VX and ZX trims and added TPMS feature with ZX trim. The same 2.4L Turbo Diesel engine with 148 bhp of peak power and 343 Nm of peak torque, mated to a sole 5-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels.
