Yuzvendra Chahal returned back to form on Tuesday in an epic display of spin bowling in Mullanpur. The Punjab Kings leggie ran through the Kolkata Knight Riders middle order to pose a fight back for the hosts. Defending 111 against a batting line-up, Chahal brought his bowling smarts, against his favourite opponent in IPL.

Yuzvendra Chahal made most of the favourable conditions on offer, turning back the years in a fine display of bowling. The leggie had struggled for form in IPL 2025, but responded to his team’s call for special performance at Mullanpur on Tuesday. In his very first over, Chahal trapped Ajinkya Rahane in front to dismiss the KKR captain LBW.
In the next over, the veteran tossed it up, with Angrkish Raghuvanshi taking the bait, only to find Xavier Barlett in the deep. In the next over, he got the better of Rinku Singh, completely fooling him with a peach, making it an easy stumping for Josh Inglis. The very next ball, Ramandeep Singh’s attempt to paddle sweep went straight up with Shreyas Iyer taking a simple catch.
