Three of the four semifinalists have been confirmed. The last one will be decided after the India vs West Indies match.

It all comes down to this. The four best teams of the T20 World Cup 2026 remain. One of them will lift the coveted trophy on March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The first semifinal was already confirmed, with table-toppers from Group 1, South Africa, taking on New Zealand at the Eden Gardens. India and the West Indies faced off in the last Super 8 match of the T20 World Cup, to determine who faces England at the Wankhede Stadium in the second semifinal.

Are there reserve days for T20 World Cup 2026 semifinals?

Yes, there are reserve days for the semifinals and the final. In case of weather interruptions, each semifinal will have an additional 90 minutes to complete the game on the match day and 120 minutes on the reserve day. The final will have an additional 120 minutes on both the match day and reserve day.

Who’ll win if T20 World Cup 2026 semifinals are abandoned?

If the semifinals can’t be completed, the team that finished higher in the Super 8 will win and move to the final. If the final is abandoned, both teams will be declared joint winners.
