The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have decided to retain 18 players before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 auction. The 2016 champions also traded premier fast bowler Mohammed Shami to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for an all-cash deal.

SRH purse left for IPL 2026 auction
Since the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had announced earlier that an additional INR 5 crore will be added to the auction purse for all franchises, SRH will enter the IPL 2026 auction with an INR xx crore purse.
