LSG has made some bad decisions in the past, and they continue to do so, come the IPL 2026 retentions. On Saturday, the team got rid of four quality players, and retained a few questionable ones. Before coming to that, in an IPL trade deal with MI, LSG got Arjun Tendulkar for Shardul Thakur. Also, in an all-cash trade deal, they got Mohammed Shami from SRH for INR 11 Cr.
