ICC T20 World Cup 2026 warm-up schedule for February 3

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup flavour has begun with the warm-up fixtures currently going on. A total of 15 games are scheduled by the ICC which will be held in India and Sri Lanka from February 2 to February 6. The main tournament starts at February 7.
On the opening day of the warm-up games, Afghanistan scripted a routine win before IPL stars filled India A side registered a dominant triumph over the USA. Jagadeesan hammered a century, while Tilak Varma impressed in his return game. Meanwhile, Italy recorded a morale-boosting win over Canada as well. There’d be no India or India A match on February 3, however.

Just like yesterday, there are three great games lined up. While the senior Sri Lanka team will be playing their third T20I of the 3-game bilateral series against England later tonight, there will be Sri Lanka ‘A’ in action against Oman. Oman haven’t played much cricket lately and this match will be crucial for their preparations.
Meanwhile, there Netherlands vs Zimbabwe game would be one to watch out for. Both teams can punch above their weights considering their luxury of having a couple of star players. Don’t miss out on Nepal vs UAE game as well. Nepal, who have a massive fan following, have a better head-to-head record (6-5) over UAE in T20 internationals. While this will be a warm-up games, expect fans to come out in support for Nepal in Chennai.
