“He will score a century in 60 balls”: Yuvraj Singh makes bold prediction for Indian star for IND vs PAK clash

Team India will take on Pakistan in a much-anticipated clash in the ICC Champions Trophy. Questions have been raised about Rohit Sharma’s form off late. But he was decent in the opening game against Bangladesh. And now, former India Cricket Team star Yuvraj Singh has backed Rohit Sharma claiming he can score a century in just 60 deliveries.
After the disaster in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, Rohit Sharma has finally been able to see lady luck after switching to ODIs. He went on to hammer a thunderous century in the IND vs ENG ODI series. In the previous game against Bangladesh, he played well, scoring a gritty 41-run knock.
Yuvraj Singh backs the Hitman
“If he’s in form, he will score a century in 60 balls. That’s his quality—once he gets going, he’s not just hitting fours; he’s clearing the ropes with sixes. He is also one of the best players of the short ball. Even if someone bowls at 145-150 kmph, Rohit has the ability to hook it effortlessly. His strike rate is always between 120-140, and on his day, he can single-handedly win you the game,” Yuvraj Singh said on JioHotstar.
Yuvraj claimed that he has full confidence in both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. He claimed that he would continue to back the match winners. He further added that both the star batters are a different beast when it comes to ODIs.
“Rohit Sharma, whether in form or out of form, it doesn’t matter to me. I would always back my match-winners. In ODI cricket, especially in white-ball formats, he has been India’s biggest match-winner as a batsman, alongside Virat Kohli. If Rohit is struggling but still gets runs, that’s dangerous for the opposition,” he added.
