India vs Pakistan: Rohit Sharma's men have few problems ahead of the Champions Trophy clash, while host PAK have some injury concerns.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. And that seems to be the case with Mohammad Rizwan‘s team ahead of the India vs Pakistan clash in Champions Trophy. The Pakistani side has roped in a special coach Mudassar Nazar for the high-octane clash. As per a report in Livemint, the ex all-rounder was spotted during the side’s net session.

Desperate Pakistan Hire New Coach

Pakistan is on the verge of being eliminated from the CT 2025; and another defeat in the tournament will only seal the deal. Nazar, a former coach with the Pakistani team, brings wealth of experience with himself, and also the experience of playing innumerable matches vs India.

It is interesting to note that Pakistan had lost their opening match vs New Zealand in Karachi by 60 runs. On the other hand, Team India is coming to this match on the back of a win against Bangladesh, by six wickets. As far as overall record in CT between the two teams is concerned, Pakistan has won three, while India has won two.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani team is undergoing a slew of issues, where Saim Ayub first got injured, and then Fakhar Zaman also faced an injury. Imam ul Haq has been drafted into the side. There are issues with the bowling as well, with the likes of Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah leaking a lot of runs.
