Moeen Ali delivered a brilliant spell for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He clinched the first maiden over of the season, picking up a wicket.
He dismissed a big fish Devon Conway in his maiden wicket. Conway was the highest run scorer for CSK in their previous match.
Moeen Ali was former CSK player
Moeen Ali, who previously played for CSK, is well-acquainted with the conditions at Chepauk. He was not retained by the team and therefore entered the IPL 2025 auction, where KKR bought him for INR 2 crore.
