Sunil Narine has taken 200 wickets for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), becoming the second bowler to claim 200 wickets for a single franchise in cricket leagues.

He achieved this historic feat during KKR’s match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), the IPL 2024 finalists, at the Eden Gardens on Thursday.

Narine has taken a total of 200 wickets for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), with 182 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and 18 in the Champions League T20 (CLT20). He achieved this milestone by dismissing Kamindu Mendis, becoming only the second player after Samit Patel to claim 200 wickets for a single franchise.
