Archie Gray has made no secret about the fact he's Celtic daft - and now says he can't WAIT to play Rangers.

The 18-year-old, whose dad Frank and uncle Eddie both played for Scotland in their pomp, is finding his feet in North London after. a blockbuster £30m move from Leeds United in the summer. English born and raised, it's looking increasingly likely he'll be playing for the Three Lions at international level - but there's no room for dubiety over where his club allegiances lie. He's a self-confessed 'massive Celtic fan' - and that's going to make his Europa League trip to Ibrox on December 12 that little bit more special.

Gray, revealing he's already been to an Old Firm derby previously, said: "Especially watching Celtic and supporting them a little bit you always look for the Rangers game. The chance to play at Ibrox is a special thing and I can't wait for it.

"I have been to one (Old Firm) and it wasn't at Ibrox. They're brilliant games and I love them every single time. Even on TV they're just as good to watch."

Gray has been limited to late sub appearances in the Premier League this season but has played the full 90 in each of their European games so far, a clear indicator that Ange Postecoglou sees a big future for him. Speaking back after he signed, he said working under the Aussie, who conquered all with Celtic before moving down south, was a big part of why he joined.

"I’m not going to lie to you, I’m a massive Celtic fan so I love him (Postecoglou) and my whole family loves him," Gray told club media in July. "I haven’t really said this to be fair.

"He’s also a massive factor because playing under a really good manager is really important for me as well. I've still got loads to learn as I'm only 18."
