Love Island's Scott Thomas has broken his silence online after he was announced as part of the official Love Island All Stars cast for 2025.
Returning for the ITV2 spin off show which will air its first episode on January 13, the Manchester lad, who first appeared on the second-season of Love Island in 2016, is now returning to the villa for another attempt at finding love.
Scott, now 36, was just 27-years-old when he first appeared on the reality show nine-years ago, finishing up in third place with his ex-girlfriend Kady McDermott.
Over the years, he has had quite the self-development journey and is now the director of the Social Media PR Agency.
The ex-islander also regularly shares motivational speaking videos with his 1.1m Instagram followers on how he has transformed his life through sobriety and focusing on his physical and mental wellness.
The reality star, who is twins with Emmerdale star Adam Thomas and the younger brother of Celebrity Big Brother winner Ryan Thomas, revealed the real reason why he is going back on the show.
Addressing some speculation he is 'too old' to make a return to the villa, Scott admitted the main motivation behind his Love Island comeback is to show "the new version of me."

In a new video on Instagram, he told his followers: "I want to go on there and show the new version of me. I've been on a crazy journey over the last few years of sobriety, self development and when I was on there all those years ago I was 27 but still very much a little boy."
Speaking of his previous time on the show, he added: "I didn't really know myself and I didn't know how to handle situations and I'm hoping this time round I get to go on and put my best foot forward and show the world the new Scott. I'm not going to be perfect, I'm not going to get everything right but I'm just looking forward to it."
The PR guru credited the show for "opening up so many doors" for him as he said he looks back on his time on it with "so much love, warmth and fondness", adding that "you don't get many chances to go back and do something life-changing for the second time."
In addition to this, Scott is also hoping to find love in the villa. He said: "I feel like I need something new in my life, I need a new challenge and hopefully I'll meet someone because at the end of the day I'm still single."
Scott's ex Kady McDermott joined last year’s season of All Stars prompting Scott to say he regretted turning down the opportunity.
The line up for this year's show features a range of ex-islanders from previous seasons, including Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen, Kaz Crossley, Nas Majeed, Catherine Agbaje, Olivia Hawkins, Ronnie Vint, Elma Pazar, India Reynolds, Marcel Sommerville and Luca Bish.
