Linda Robson became heavily involved in rumours surrounding a bitter 'feud' with Birds of a Feather co-star Pauline Quirke before the devastating news broke of Pauline's dementia diagnosis.

In an episode of Loose Women, Linda addressed the pair's time off from the BBC sitcom, shared how "nice" it was to reunite with her fellow Birds of a Feather co-stars, Pauline and Lesley Joseph, after several years apart.

She stated: "Sometimes it's really nice to reunite. We had many, many years doing Birds of a Feather then we had a big break."

Reliving fond memories, she added: "Then a few years ago we reunited. It was the happiest time. We had all been together over 25 years and it was like we'd never been apart."

When asked if another series of the show was on the cards, Linda had shut it down, sharing: "No, Pauline doesn't act anymore."

Speaking the trios deep connection, she said: "Yeah. We have so much history together, me and Pauline have been best friends since we were 10 years old. Lesley I've known since the first series of Birds of a Feather. Pauline doesn't like all the social events but me and Lesley love that."

In spite of Pauline's stance, Linda openly admitted that both her and Lesley were devastated when the show ended.

"We were gutted and we couldn't imagine going on without her," she confessed to Woman's Own. "We were a trio how could it possibly work without any one of us? But at the same time as all that sadness, there was acceptance and understanding, too."
