Tyson Fury hopes to have his revenge on Oleksandr Usyk when the two meet for the second time in 2024 this Saturday.
The 34-1-1 'Gypsy King' was handed the first professional loss of his boxing career to Usyk back in May, when the undefeated Ukrainian pugilist bolstered his own record to 22-0 thanks to a split-decision win after the full 12 rounds. As a result, Usyk clinched Fury's WBC championship to become the first undisputed king of heavyweight boxing since Lennox Lewis more than two decades ago, also holding the WBA (Super), WBO, IBF and IBO belts at the time.
It came as the first fault in Fury's remarkable career, having made his debut in 2008 and tearing through the heavyweight division with relative ease over the years. The 36-year-old has bested a who's who at 200+lbs, including Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder, Dillian Whyte, Derek Chisora and Francis Ngannou.
However, he wasn't able to overcome long-time foe Usyk at the Kingdom Arena in May and will be eager to get the job done for his legacy's sake this evening. Born in Simferopol, Usyk kicked off his own boxing career in 2013 in the slightly lighter cruiserweight division, clinching his first world title in the form of the WBO belt just ten fights deep thanks to a unanimous decision win over Krzysztof Glowacki in 2016.
'The Cat' also held the WBA (Super), WBC and IBF belts at cruiserweight before vacating his collection in 2019 to make the step up to heavyweight. Usyk clinched the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles after beating Anthony Joshua via UD in 2021 and has made three defences of his belts in the years since - including his May victory over Fury.

What time does Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk II start in the UK?
Saturday's undercard at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh kicks off at 4pm in the UK. However, Fury and Usyk aren't expected to make their main event ring walks until around 10.25pm this evening. While organisers have said that the main event will start no later than scheduled, it could come sooner depending on how fast the undercard progresses.

For those who haven't booked the flight to Saudi Arabia to watch the action unfold live, then fear not, as the fight card will be broadcast via a number of avenues.
