Resident Evil Veronica announced

The show opens up with a trailer for Resident Evil Veronica, the long-awaited remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica. The video starts with a lovely jaunt to Paris where a sweet old woman invites you into her not at all creepy flat. From there things go a little off the rails. There's a kidnapping, zombies, and, well, watch for yourself above. It's coming in 2027.

Alien Isolation 2 revealed

We knew Alien Isolation 2 was in development, but this is the first we've seen of Creative Assembly's return to its survival horror series in 12 years. The action, as Edwin suspected, has moved from a spaceship to a colony. Very much an Alien to Aliens move. There wasn't a great deal revealed in the trailer, but it's great to see it's Creative are ready to start talking about it.

Fumito Ueda's Project Robot announced as genATLAS

First announced at The Game Awards 2024, Fumito Uda's Project Robot is back again, this time with a full title and trailer. GenATLAS sees you playing a boy who moves through a world populated with robots of a scale much akin to the creatures in Shadow of the Colossus. This one, unlike Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian is coming to PC, though.

New Blood Message trailer

First announced last year, NetEase's singleplayer action game set in east and Central Asia, with you travelling towards Chang'An carrying an essential message. The trailer shows off a little more of the world.

Stranger Than Heaven release date announced

The new game from Yakuza developer RGG Studios is set across multiple time periods in Japan and Mark's already a fan from what he's had the chance to see. As well as a new trailer revealing that long-dead rapper Tupac will feature as a character alongside Snoop Dogg, RGG announced the game will be out on January 15th, 2027.

Multiplayer shooter Haex announced

A new game from a new developer, Dead Astronauts, this is a four-player co-op first-person shooter where you head into some completely normal looking to save some missing scientists. As well as withstanding the cold, you'll find you're being hunted by aliens. Brill.

Rogue Orbit announced

A new game from Bandai Namco, Rogue Orbit lets you climb into a giant robot suit and fight against even more giant beasts. It looks to be people who wish Monster hunter was just a touch more Gundam.

Ex-Naughty Dog developers announce Crossfire

Formed about five years ago, That's No Moon is a studio of former Naughty Dog developers. Their first game Crossfire looks at first flush to be a military sim game, with two soldiers trying to stay ahead of an unseen enemy hunting them. Though, towards the end of the trailer it reveals itself to be quite a bit more sci-fi. It may be a sign of the night but all I can think right now is that, with that title, the game will be about an angry fire.

New Control: Resonant trailer is an absolute bop

I was going to skip past this Control: Resonant trailer, the show is starting to get away from me, we already know this game is coming and it will likely be a gem. But, well, then I heard the trailer song. It's an absolute bop.

Guild Wars 3 revealed

The rumours were true, ArenaNet is working on a new MMO. I won't lie, when the trailer first began I thought it might be something to do with Highguard. The focus looks to be on movement and momentum, which built on top of the last game's dynamic world events could make for a much more exciting world to be a part of. The beta is due to start next year.

Fresh Star Wars: Galactic Racer gameplay trailer

In a sign that Fuse Games are continuing to do something frankly absurd, the developer have managed to not only slightly burnish the reputation of the Phantom Menace, but they've even made Sebulba not look truly awful. Truly, impressive work.

Virtua Fighter Crossroads announced

Sega's Virtua Fighter is coing back, but not as a side-on fighting game. Instead it looks to now be a story driven, third-person action game. Perhaps that's just the framing of the trailer, but it certainly looks to be an interesting direction to revive the series.

New game from Assassin's Creed creator 1666: Amsterdam revealed

Patrice Desilet's has been beavering away on 1666: Amsterdam for more than 15 years, but it looks like it might actually come out. When I'm not racing to get to the next trailer I'll expand on the full story. But for now, at least, a portion of it can't be taken away immediately, a 30-minute prologue has been released on Steam.

Saw Genesis revealed

Not content to work on the Silent Hill 2 remake and a new game in their Cronos series, it looks like Bloober Team are also working on a Saw game. As you can see from the trailer, there is some deeply gruesome horror fun to be had.

Star Wars: Zero Company gameplay trailer

Now this is what I've been holding out for over an hour of this deluge of trailers, some footage of Star Wars: Zero Company, the turn-based tactics spin on the galaxy far far away from the makers of Firaxis' XCOM. Gosh it looks pretty and fun. Pump it into my veins. Oh, and right at the end there is Anakin.

Blood of Dawnwalker trailer reveals present day storyline

A new trailer for Blood of Dawnwalker, the vampiric RPG from some of the creators of The Witcher just got a new trailer and – as well as showing off a lot of bloodletting – it also revealed that the game is set over multiple timelines. While initially the game looked to only be set in a medieval past, there is also a storyline that takes place in the present day. Which, considering it's about immortal vampires, does track.
