ADELAIDE, ‌Dec 21 : England were 241 for six, 194 runs from their victory target in ‌the third Ashes ‌test at Adelaide Oval, when rain halted play early in the first session ‍on day five on Sunday.

Will Jacks was 21 not out, ​with wicketkeeper ‌Jamie Smith on 25.

Australia won the ​first two tests by ⁠eight wickets ‌in Perth ​and Brisbane. The next test starts in ‍Melbourne on December ⁠26.
