BASF sues Apple in US for allegedly infringing its face authentication patents

Sept 3 : BASF sued Apple on Thursday, accusing the iPhone maker of infringing the German company's patented face authentication technology in dozens of iPhone and iPad models.

The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court in Midland, Texas.
